Goop Opens Its 7th Permanent Store
Goop recently opened its seventh permanent store in wealthy Aspen, Colorado, where the average home sells for USD 3.6 million, and 1 in 3 residences sell for more than USD 20 million.
The store, whilst just under 700 square-feet-big, and will carry Goop’s very own Goop Beauty and G. Label’s product range, as well as skincare from Augustinus Bader and Saltyface. Color cosmetics from Westman Atelier and fragrance from indie brand Heretic will also be part of the store’s product offering, as well as other notable high-end beauty and wellness brands.
Goop Aspen will also feature accessory and jewelry brands that complement the G. Label collection, and, in partnership with New York’s beloved Strand Bookstore, the store will sell a curated selection of books. Mathew Blythe, Goop’s VP of Retail, highlights that the brand aims to open two to three stores per year, and to eventually expand the brand’s retail footprint to 20 to 30 stores.
Goop future retail projects include a 2,000-square-foot location in Newport Beach’s Lido Marina Village, followed by Palm Beach, Florida and Greenwich, Connecticut.
